How to earn money on your homepage with Google Adsense:

A lot of people see homepages as only an expense, but do you know that you are able to earn money on what you maybe only consider to be a hobby?
I found out that this is actually possible.

To begin with I though it was really difficult to have commercials on the net, but still I wanted to check it out. I tried some different ways of placing ads on my homepage, but it turned out that I was right, it really was annoying, took a lot of time and it didn't feel it was worth the little I got paid for hosting ugly commercials that took away focus from the real content of the page.
Then I tried something new for me at that time, Google Adsense.

It has only been a positive experience, I now earn a lot more than it costs me to host this page and I feel a bit better "wasting time" writing here on my homepage and on my blog, now I kind of get paid for it while doing something I enjoy.
I don't need to replace the commercials manually anymore, when the adsense block is in place on a page, just a matter of putting some automaticly generated code in the html code of the page, then Google automaticly makes sure that relevant ads are displayed in discreet boxes. If some ads that I do not like should start showing up I can easily lock them from being showed on all of my pages.

So I only have the warmest recommendations for other webpage owners to try and use Google AdSense.



When you have made an AdSense account, you will have access to lot's of good guides, tutorials, access to a friendly forum and a very easy to use interface in the usual Google way.
